Scheduled imports
Scheduled imports automate data exchange with systems that do not provide a suitable API. Treat every imported file and remote endpoint as untrusted input.
Panda can schedule supported Magento imports from local storage, SFTP, FTP or a URL. Prefer authenticated SFTP or HTTPS, restrict destinations and credentials, and avoid unencrypted FTP for sensitive data.
Open System > Data Transfer > Import - Schedule and select New Scheduled Import.

Key settings
- Cron Expression: choose a common schedule or Custom Expression. The Panda cron runs every two minutes, so an every-minute expression is still processed at two-minute intervals. The expression is validated when saved.
- After Import Action: Archive moves processed files to an archives folder on the source; Delete permanently removes them. Validate the resolved path and retention requirements before enabling deletion.
- Server Type: Local paths are relative to the Magento installation. Remote FTP or SFTP paths are full paths on the source server.
- Email Notifications: enter multiple addresses separated by commas to receive import error details.
- Data Mappings: map remote column names to Magento columns, for example EAN to SKU.
